Job Summary Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a C++ Systems Developer for our industry leading Applied TAM insurance broker management software product. You will be responsible for the new development, enhancements, systems development, and improving the performance of our software using C++, VB.Net/Visual Basic, C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server. In this role, you will be assigned to an Agile Scrum team that develops .Net, C++, and SQL applications. You will be counted on to provide your peers with technical expertise that will offer solutions for difficult programming problems. You will also create technical specifications for these enhancements to our products.
Additional responsibilities include:
New development and maintenance of our applications using C++, VB6, and .Net (Visual Studio, VB.NET, C#)
Research problems and various solutions, while devising a plan to solve these problems
Become a dedicated participant of your Agile Scrum team
Collaborating with other members on the Scrum team to self-manage feature development to completion
Participating in Sprint Reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint
Participating in Sprint planning of future development task
Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
Coordination with groups outside of Development including, but not limited to Support, Implementation and Product Management
Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of programming experience, including experience with C++, Boost C++ libraries, data structures, and SQL
Experience in VB.Net/Visual Basic, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or TFS a plus
Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment; experience with Agile Scrum methodology an asset
Proven ability to think creatively and develop new ways of handling technical and project tasks (thinks outside the box)
Possess strong work ethic and able to deliver solutions under a tight deadline
Strong technical abilities
Expert troubleshooting skills and research abilities
Must possess excellent communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
