Regional Human Resources Manager

The Regional HR Manager will support the Novecare and Silica businesses with planning and directing daily operations of the Plant Human Resources function for three (3) plants in efforts to deliver effective services to employees and managers. Works with the Plant Managers to develop and implement policies to create a productive and satisfying work environment for employees. Advises and counsels Plant Management in the administration and interpretation of union contracts. Assists in the resolution/response of grievance/arbitration/investigations and other types of civil litigation. Coordinates union activities/ meetings including negotiations and labor management meetings.
The HR Manager is responsible to plan, develop and implement a broad range of activities that relate to all phases of the Human Resources and Labor Management function
Serves as the escalation point to help resolve union/management disputes
Serves as lead negotiator for local unions and assists in grievance arbitration
Coaching field Supervisors on issues, and interpretation of governing CBA's
Works with Labor Relations Manager, Regional HR and plant leadership to develop North American labor contract negotiation strategies and project plans including cost analysis, contingency planning, and stakeholder management
Oversees the execution of local contract negotiation strategies
Works effectively at Labor Management meetings to build understanding and relationships.
Monitors the safety and worker compensation programs and identify network wide issues and work with distribution management and union leaders to develop actions to address.
Serves as the HR lead executing all day to day processes (employee relations, local contract management, compensation, workforce planning and staffing, etc)
Work with Novecare HR team on talent strategies-- developing talent, building workforce capabilities, and creating succession plans
Develops HR Manager team and create strong succession plans
5-7 years? experience in Human Resources with demonstrated leadership abilities, preferably in a manufacturing setting
In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws pertaining to all aspects of Human Resources Administration
Requires an exceptional level of interpersonal skills, sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
Experience working with employees at multiple sites
Broad knowledge of HR with emphasis in employee relations, laws and labor relations exp.
Ability to influence at all levels internally and externally
Proven strong leadership capabilities with excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Skill at building strong business partnerships with clients by demonstrating an understanding of the business strategies, the financial elements and the decision-making processes to make sound HR strategic decisions for the business
Ability to connect the people strategy with the business strategy
Track record of identifying opportunities for HR to deliver value-added services and programs to enhance business results
Exemplifies integrity, respect, and adherence to company values while delivering results

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
